Bai Xin Chen

I am greatly inspired by the human body and the human psyche. I explore the relationship between the two through abstraction and stylization - dissection and manipulation. I de- and re-construction the human face, torso, and psychology, filtered through religious iconography and personal narratives. My materials include bronze, wood, mixed medias, and found objects.
