Alemeh (Zeinab) Bagherian is an Iranian female artist. She focuses on the concept of women and peace in her works of art.
Alemeh was born in 1984 in Ghaemshahr, north of Iran. She studied painting for her Master’s degree and Carpet Designing for her Bachelor’s degree.
She is a member of Society of Iranian Painters and a member of Institute for Promotion of Contemporary Visual Arts.
Alemeh started professional painting in 2008. She works in fashion and design too, and makes use of her paintings in fashion and design.
The mixture of miniature and traditional Iranian and oriental paintings with modern figures of women have granted original beauty to her works of art.
The illustration of stories from Shahnameh by Ferdowsi through the figurative paintings of the Iranian painting is reflective of the originality of Iranian culture and tradition. The objective of the painter is to express the bravery and courage of Iranian woman.
