I am pleased to present this new collection of paintings inspired by the sociocultural values that connect us as human beings: family, joy, love, solidarity, and togetherness. Through simplified forms, strong lines, and vibrant colours, I wanted to create a visual language that is both contemporary and universal. The figures may appear abstract, but behind every shape there is a human story: people meeting, sharing, protecting one another, celebrating, and building relationships. Family is represented not only as a biological connection, but as a space of belonging, support, and transmission. Love becomes the invisible force that connects the different figures. And joy appears through color, movement, interaction, and the energy created when people come together. The bright colors are intentional. They express optimism, diversity, and the richness of our different identities. The black lines create connections and structures, almost like paths linking one person to another. This collection is also a reflection on community. In a world where people can sometimes feel increasingly separated, these paintings remind us that our greatest strength often comes from our relationships with others. For me, art is not only something to look at. It is a way of communicating, creating dialogue, and bringing people closer together. Through this collection, I invite the viewer to recognise something familiar: a family, a friendship, a celebration, a memory, or simply the feeling of being connected to another human being. Ultimately, these works celebrate one simple idea: Life becomes more meaningful when it is shared. René Jean Amba
