Clare McCracken

Clare McCracken is a Barcelona-based ceramic artist inspired by modern architecture, aviation, and travel. Her work explores structure, form, and the engineered world through quirky sculptural pieces shaped by lived experiences and memorable places. Working mainly with large earthenware slabs, she creates forms echoing architectural design. Her process begins with observational sketching and photography, followed by developing technical drawings and maquettes. She then builds larger works, often scaling up, aiming to engage and excite viewers and share her passion for buildings and aviation through the expressive language clay.
