Picture Book Illustration Camp

Event Description Picture Book Illustration Camp Wednesday and Thursday, July 27 and 28 | 10:30-3:00 Ages 11-18 Award winning illustrator Bonnie Leick leads this two day summer illustration camp. Students will transform a short story into a picture book. Leick will teach attendees how to juxtapose text with images and how to create the thumbnail sketches that will eventually become the final product. Students will leave this class with a full understanding of how a picture book is created. Bring a sketch book and your favorite pencils and art materials like markers and paints.
