The music and the movie, a love story that we would want to share with a public more and more interested in styles, original and different sizes of concert. Yentl, Fiddler on the Roof ,), La Vita è bella, Defiance, so many movies which echo the triptych of Schindler’s Liste by John Williams which we had recorded during a previous CD " Hebrew melodies of the romantic era " Jade-music / Universal and which paid tribute in works being inspired by the Yiddish cultural heritage. Here, in this album " Remembrance and Cinema ", the composers as John Williams, Michel Legrand, Nicola Piovani, Ernest Gold, wanted to recreate in their own way, with their appropriate style a musical universe which remains intact thanks to our memory, memory of a History drama, of sounds, melodies, inflections at the same time soft and passionate with the violin, so many recollections which let glimpse that images and sounds are confidentially connected.
