Mythos & Modernity: A Digital Fusion Dive into our latest collaboration, where the ancient soul of Guatemala meets the cutting-edge Asian street fashion of China and South Korea. For this project from "Illustration Experimental Projects," "Virtual Fashion Projects," and (in some way) "Digital Fabrication, we've blended the rich traditions of our Guatemalan culture with the dynamic aesthetics of Korean and Chinese street style. Embark on our journey as we turn the traditional huipil into a virtual masterpiece, blending denim with Mayan textiles full of ancient tales. It features a majestic quetzal, a unifying rombo, and a protective nahual, all bursting with vibrant Nahuatl colors mirroring Guatemala's soul. The story continues with 3D-printed shoes from Madrid Rural Lab, whose Xibalbá-inspired design and Kame glyphs are powerful symbols of transformation and rebirth.
