飛天 F/W 23-24 collection

The "飞天" collection's conceptual framework is manifested in the silhouette of each garment, drawing inspiration from the Hanfu of the Han dynasty while also incorporating elements from the history of denim, such as the iconic baggy jean. The selection of fabric, in this instance denim, is a deliberate detail. It is pertinent to acknowledge China's significant contribution to the environmental challenges posed by the textile industry. The "飞天" collection extends beyond cultural celebration, aiming to address historical complexities. The Hanfu, initially gender-neutral yet socially stratified, has largely become genderless over time. This contrasts with apsaras, celestial beings without gender, age, or social class, who tested human resilience. Mental well-being is akin to an apsara: inherently valuable and protective, while also presenting significant challenges to our strength. Ultimately, the "飞天" collection stands as a proposition to focus on issues of universal concern.
