From illustration to portrait

Paul Reprintseva comes from Charkiv, a city on the border of Ukraine with Russia. Illustrator of children's books, Paul likes to portray in his spare time and above all to portray famous faces. Paul portrays for fun, but affects mostly very personal style. In his work he fits various elements that have something in common with the subject. Phrases, glimpses of places or pentagrams intersected in a network of colors and techniques that give an added value to the art of our eclectic Paul. The July 8 will inaugurate his personal exhibition with a section of portraits dedicated to David Bowie in the six months after the release of Black Star.
