Home Sweet Home

Home Sweet Home" is an idiom, an expression that when uttered listeners form an image of a safe, peaceful, and beautiful home in their mind. But here, juxtaposed to my paintings, "Home Sweet Home" morphs into a sarcastic smile at such a fancied image. In a world where borders are constantly moving, home and hometown lose their nostalgic connotations. Rather, similar expressions turn into nauseating fantasies. "هوم سوییت هوم" یک اصطلاح است. اصطلاحی که با گفتن آن شنونده در خیالش تصویری از خانه ای امن و آرام و زیبا می سازد. اما اصطلاح "هوم سوییت هوم " در اینجا، در کنار نقاشی هایم، شبیه به پوزخندی می شود به این تصویر خیالی. در جهانی که مرز ها همواره جا به جا می شوند، خانه و وطن، تعریف نوستالژیکش را از دست می دهد. چنین اصطلاحاتی، فانتزی های تهوع آور است.
