NancyDee Lane

I love creating quirky, imaginative wall sculptures entirely from the trash I gather from the streets, laneways and footpaths of Melbourne--or San Jose, Luang Prabang or Honolulu, depending on where I am travelling.. I am amazed by the number of nails, nuts and bolts, bobby pins, screws and other unidentified objects that have been lost, dropped or discarded in the gutters. I hope that my creative use of this unloved and unwanted wood, tile, metal, and plastic will inspire others to reduce, reuse, repurpose and upcycle.

My works are currently on display in Melbourne, Australia, at Incube8r Gallery, 321 Smith Street, Fitzroy; in Luang Prabang, Laos, at the Lao Friends Hospital Visitor Center across from Dara Market; and online through Etsy at NancyDeeSculptures.
